using Xsim with LockOn: Modern Air Combat

Postby Mertensbart20 » Sat 21. Jul 2012, 11:48

Hello everybody,

I am a teacher electrical engineering and last schoolyear I build a racesimulator with my students which can be seen here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjg3O75nCy0

This schoolyear we are going to build an advanced version which will closely resemble this one (I will keep the progress online under projects):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOzyqhhKTrY

This simulator is also perfect for flightsimulation. Since Xsim seems to support "LockOn: Modern Air Combat" we would also like to use it as flightsimulator. Does anyone have experience with Xsim and Lockon? It is not quite clear how this works. You would certainly help me and my student a lot.

Thanks in advance,
Bart

Best use the graphics driver for this.
Example

I found data in Duke Nukem Forever. :D

thank you Bobbuilt
you got me few steps forward, there was a procedure in the install file like this:
"copy the file export.lua in your game directory:
\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Config\export
and overwrite the old one"
but unfortunatly i dont have the export folder and the old file export.lua
to overwrite in the config folder :? so still no values and no movement :(
any solution please

Hello hooshang,

You can find the needed files in the attachment. They are in the X-sim directorie but this way you can find them a bit easier. I know they work, I've tested them. But I haven't used it on a simulator. Should you be interested I am keeping a project online. It is intended to be used as racesimulator with rFactor. But as soon as it is finished I will also use it as flightsimulator.

Hello Hooshang,

The thanos-design was the project of last schoolyear. This schoolyear we are building a new one based on the CKAS-design :-)
