grate project... you should mirror your advance in your blog, and here, i guess in that way you would have more input :D

by the way, this little card needs a separate motor driver, like other cards right?

best regards

Thanks, fer. I think that was you on my website too? Yes, it needs a separate motor driver, aka h-bridge.

(and, yes, it'll work from 1DOF up to 6DOF...)

Is two and a half years a long time...?

Hey guys,

It's been ages! I hope everybody is well.

Firmware has been released for this project, slightly re-branded under the moniker chibi-XSIM. Since a couple guys express interest, I thought I'd announce it here. You can download it and read all about the project's status here:

https://github.com/rodgau/chibi-XSIM

Much has changed in the world of microcontrollers these past two and a half years! So, along those lines, you may also be interested to hear about another motion simulator firmware project of mine called zimple-XSIM. It runs on the very interesting Electric Imp platform.

The zimple-XSIM GitHub can be found here: https://github.com/rodgau/zimple-XSIM

IoT meets X-Sim :)

Cheers!
