Original Rock’n’Ride (RnR) Interface substitute

Hi There, Hopefully I've posted in the right place !

I have a Rock’n’Ride Simulator with the original Interface and unfortunately the PC that ran it was given to someone to fix (before I obtained it) and never returned. I have the original drivers and game that I'm fairly sure ran on a Windows XP machine . I setup a PC Running Windows 7 and installed X-Sim and used sirnonames instructions viewtopic.php?f=45&t=376 to try and configure the use of the original Interface but with no success in getting it to work. From reading further it appears people have had more success with the RnR 1.3 USB Interface though I cannot find a list of Components to build the board and the link in the Hardware section only took me to 2 images http://x-sim.de/manual/rnr_1_3.html .

I was hoping that either someone could point me in the right direction to getting the schematics with list of components etc to build one or if anyone has other recommendations on the best kind of controller to use for the Simulator ?
