Hi,

Something extrange has happened today with my AMC 1.6. The values of pot X and Y do not change when I turn pot and remains statics all the time. I reflashed the board but nothing happens. I'm using 1.1e and

This looks strange. When you press reset, do you get all the intro messages on the LCD? What happens if you turn off the DIP1 switch?

Also the 255 number you get for all potentiometers indicates you have to set the correct ADC range. You must turn the blue multiturn potentiometer all the way clockwise.

Hi Thanos,

When I press reset I see all intro messages, and I turn off the DIP1 switch the first line message disapears:

I also tried to adjust the ADC range but nothing happens. Also the stored KP settings have been restored to 7 and 5.

It's a really really strange thing!

Did you tried to ground the crystal case like I did here?

Maybe, you should make a video describing what you have connected where on it, and show its behavior. Youtube is good enough for that.

Or some detailed photos of the board and the potetiometer connections...

The problem is solved, I can't believe it!

A coold solder in the ADC pot was the problem. I should have done before, a beginner mistake

Sorry for the quality but my phone's camera is not working fine.

Thanks Thanos, next time I will upload a video :D

Its not strange. To SAVE the KP settings in the memory you need to use the "254" instead of "255" in the simulator start command line: KP~254~~3~~3~

Using 255 sets the KP values temporary until next time you reset or recycle the power on the AMC board.
