HELP modifying coding for Arduino - H-Bridge

Postby xidsim1 » Fri 7. Mar 2014, 21:22

Can anyone help me to modify the coding for the Arduino UNO to a H-Bridge?

If anyone can help me, give me a link to a tutorial or something would be really appreciated. I have been trying on & off for months now to do this, when I have time. Now I have some time.

The changes are quite simple I believe. Two separate things I need to do.

1/
Each individual motor is on a separate axis. Motor 1 = X Axis, Motor 2 = Y Axis

2/
I have slightly different wiring/sockets on the H-Bridge which I need to tell the Arduino apparently

I have never written coding before (except years ago when i programmed CNC machines) but would like to learn how. Although I am not great with computers I am sure I will pick it up once I get going.

Can anyone out there help?

Hello Xidsim1!

If you want help to modify some code, please tell us what Arduino code you are talking about?

I can see the wiring of the Hbridge: it's an half Hbridge. You cannot tell the direction to the motor, only the speed...
You have to purchase a complete Hbridge.
