Check in device manager if USB interface is ok
The roo should show in interface settings as 2 channels with the com port number

Yes it's written "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM6)

I can see this Com Port in "Universal serial Output" of "Output Setup" tab.

Double check that this comport us not used in USO or extractor OBD2 settings and try to increase the port number to 10 or above.

You should not be using USO, the Kangaroo plugin uses the Synaptrix IO Output, I think you will need to clear the USO outputs.

If the problem does exist:
Can you borrow me your setup for some days where you do not need them?
I think one day is enugh for profilic to kangaroo integration.

Hi,

thats fine.
I need one of the profilic adapter and the kangaroo without any change of your current setup. Perhaps wired or some pictures of the wiring.
Thats all.
Send it to the address in the impress on the main page.
http://www.x-sim.de/software.php?lang=e ... =impressum

Back porto is not problem. Should fit into a cushioned cuvert I think, this is not expensive.

regards,
SirNoName

by the way, did you use the kangaroo tools to load the setup default? Maybe there you have a missconfig? Perhaps telfel can provide the default config here?

Hi Sir

I have a prolific usb to serial adapter, I had trouble getting Describe sw tool to work with it ok,

I used the adapter supplied with the roo to set the roo up, then swapped to the prolific to test with x-sim and that was ok.

using win xp

I can run some tests later in the week and post the describe config file if thats any help.

regards Terry
