Happymodel Super300

Postby Bergison » Sat 25. Nov 2017, 14:22

Hi everybody!

Does anybody have experience with these motors?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPER300-High-Torque-Metal-Servo-12-24V-300kg-cm-0-5S-60-Degree-BEC-5V-f-Robot-/351765090472

I plan to build a modified version of the G-Seat and need motors with higher torque than ordinary 12V wiper motors.
I am greatful for your input and for any suggestions!

Cheers!

OK, so I guess no one has used this servos yet...

I received one of the 500 kg/cm version today:
https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B074GY7RFP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It has a declared torque of 500 kg/cm (~49 Nm), which (if true) would be more than enough to be used instead of wiper motors for my next project.

As I have zero experience in using servos, could anybody please recommend an interface board to steer 3 of them?

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers, Chris

Hi Bergison ,

Nice to see you here back !
I'm always fan from your gseat.

I do also plan to build a gseat for my 6dof sim rig .I already searched some informations.

I tested pololu board which could be a good solution and a software to setup servos. For the communication with the game obviously an arduino.
Look at pololu servo maestro I believe controller .

Greetings and happy new year .
