congratulations on the new toys :) man it is cool

but I have a little problem I can not get amc 1.6 to talk to x-sim software
I can not find it under the interface settings.
therefore I can not figure out how to use it right
or to test whether I have made amc 1.6 correctly
plus I can only see on the display that run a resolution of 255 and not the 1023 as I look at your videos

I know I'm probably doing everything wrong :-)
but I am only an amateur compared you

Hi ,

You can't find that through the interface settings because there is no plugin for that ( one day peharps sir?)

Read the first page from this topic to find the solution. You have to write a strings like "AB ~255~~a0~~a1~" in the uso parser to communicate between xsim and the amc.
For the amc the resolution is 8 bits so you have 256 positions (0 to 255).The amc you saw on the video is a amc644usb whih use 16 bits definition (0 to 1023)

Hi Gilles,

I'll have to correct you on this. The resolution of AMC644USB and AMC1280USB is 16-bit (0-65535) !!! ;)

I didn't see anyone else complaining about the video quality. Its not a staged, professional video made in a studio, sorry!

i just stated its hard to see the motion of such a great unit, and the camera would show it better if it was still.
