Simulatore 3dof traction loss made in italy

Postby Tiromancino1 » Tue 24. Oct 2017, 21:05

Hello to all.
this is my 3dof traction loss simulator
First of all, I wanted to thank you all for taking inspiration from your simulators.
https://youtu.be/71-P6IBqPUQ
this simulator has the peculiarity of being telescopic in fact it is possible to finish playing to narrow down all the simulator and bring it to a minimum of a meter of space very comfortable for those with little room.
it was very difficult to put the traction loss in this simulator both because it is shortened by the fact that it is resting on wheels to move it where you want it.
this is the result.

Ciao Tiromancino, sim bello e molto compatto!!! Puoi postare altre foto? Mi interessa il terzo dof, dovrei modificare il mio sim e cerco idee valide, grazie!
Vedo che il monitor è fisso, quando vai in perdita aderenza come ti trovi?

the wheels are raised and lowered with an electric actuator

it was very difficult to build this kind of traction loss with little space under the seat but it seemed to me a good solution for having a simulator that can be moved home once you've finished playing.
if I have to tell you the truth in xm math setup setup i did many tests with project cars 32 speed y speed my math and 96000 min and 97000 max. but in my opinion the traction loss is not supported well by the x sim program. if you have found other satisfactory math parameters for you I would love to see.

in this photo you see the power supply located at the bottom and a stabilized linear power supply 0v 24v 30a and I send all the motors and very useful nothing to do with switching Power supply

this picture shows the button box made with the keyboard board and then remapped. The screen shows the number of voltages that are sent to the motors while with the lower lever levers the led actuator led lights for traction loss and actuator to narrow the simulator

here you can see the shift lever and handbrake lever. I built them alone doing their job but nothing great around I saw better.
the notebook I use for x sim converter

in this photo you also see the bass shaker that gives me the vibration for the rpm game.
I added 4 vibrator engines, 2 for seat vibration when changing, 1 for traction loss pedal, 1 brake pedal when locking wheels.
everything is piloted with an Arduino card.
adding all these effects I have reached a truly realistic level. I am satisfied but there is always something to improve also because to build for me is the most beautiful moment ...

Complimenti, hai realizzato ottime soluzioni. Mi rimane il dubbio su come realizzare il mio nuovo sim e sono indeciso se monito fisso, oculus o monitor a bordo, come il vecchio 2 dof, consigli?
