Good morning prodigy
I do not have a JRK, the more I've been looking on the internet and it seems that the component that was pulled is a capacitor that is probably of equal value capacitor side. These components are capacitors and brownies with small black numbers written on it are resistors, the numbers indicate its value. In the case of SMD capacitors of this size the only way to know is by measuring your value. Soon the tip I give and take the side of the capacitor and measure it. If it does not measure the value capacimetro to try to get him a capacitor of the same size elsewhere, in some equipment that will not ever use more and replace what was broken. Most likely will not be the same value unless you are very lucky. More in most cases will work.

Thank you for your reply Lucas, you probably used translator because some stuff is harder to understand, but I think I know what you're saying. The capacitor was brown color like the one near the damaged one. But I don't see any number on the brown capacitor, I should probably search some JRK documentation to see what type it is. But even so, I don't think I could find the same capacitor and also I don't have the tools to repair it, everything is so miniature..

I am going to contact Pololu, explain what happened and wait for their suggestion. Maybe they could repair it, I'm willing to send it back if repair will cost less than a new JRK. In other case, I will need to buy new one..

Let Pololu sort it.....
If by chance you replace it with the wrong component, it may be more than a JRK go BOOM.....
You would not want to accidently nuke your pc as well.

Thats fine going to ards, but he still needs h-bridges, so thats extra cost anyway.
Lets give him time to email pololu....hes gone to this much trouble setting up JRKS, he may be lucky in getting a replacement...

Thanks for the support guys, I'm gonna contact Pololu team tomorrow, explain what happened and wait for their answer. I would be more than happy if they'll give me 50% off like you Dave, but yet, you bought so much JRK's from them, I've bought only two.

Either way, I'm gonna stick with JRK's, I've bought all equipment to build this sim with them and selling all those stuff would be a big drawback and pain in the azz for me..

Apparently, it is not too difficult to do some soldering of surface mount components.
If all you did was displace one of the resistors, you could just buy some more, plus maybe a magnifying head mount glass thing.
and take this as a new skill learning opportunity.

Just search on youtube for it. There is a crazy australian nutter with a funny voice that will show you how to do it
