I am about to start building my new Joyrider style motion simulator, that I will keep posting here in the forum of course :D , but I afraid that my old rig of wiper motors will not be able to hanlde it because of its size.
If you are planing to use biger motors please give some information about so I can start figuring out it.

ps. One thing I like about your frame is that there is a lot of space around the seat, I will do that too!

regards!

Try these motors http://www.motiondynamics.com.au/worm-d ... orque.html

Thanks for the reply Erik!
That is a beautiful motor and the only problem, as always, is that to me (in Brasil) dollars costs the double + taxes + shipping :(
Anyway, thats the way to go if we want the best results.

Do you know how much more fast and powerful is it in comparison to standard wiper motors?

I can answer that.
Wipers 50-60 rpm rated torque 5-8 nm.
Big worm gear motors 180 rpm 20-33nm torque, and STRONG AS!
Mind you , they suck some power to do so.
