Game profile & plugin forum redivided

Postby floriske » Wed 17. Oct 2012, 20:01

As of today the "Game profile & plugin discussions" forum is redivided by game so it's easier to start discussions about profile and plugin settings for a specific game.

Feel free to share your profile settings and discuss about them in this forum. This will make it easier for "new" users to learn about profiles and improving your own!

Your game isn't listed? No worries: simply post your topic in the main section and one of the admins will see to it that a new forum is created.

can we upload rn2 extensions to that part of the forum, before we could not , but it would make it easy to share a profile of someone wanted to look at it.

Without a moderated subforum and a voting system this is not possible!
It would be a mess like the old page.

Unfortunately Sirnoname is right. Adding the rn2 file extension would most likely result in people throwing around profiles everywhere asking "is my profile right", "what's wrong with this profile" etc.

It only takes a little effort to share:

• the forces you've used
• The max values you are using
• Intensity percentage
• smoothness

But this little effort can prevent things like mentioned above from happening.

How about if the users share the profiles in their project page (first sheet)?
The visitor see the simulator type and can use a fitting profile if they own a similar one.
And if the project gallery is working the bibliothek gives a good overview.

Problem ist that it isn't possible to allow a specific filetype in only one forum section.

Just an idea: Wouldn't it be possible to let the software create a simple text file with the math settings which people could copy and paste here?
