Troubleshooting 3.0.0.7b

Postby johnakar » Sat 26. Jan 2013, 22:26

Hi to all.
I have just installed v 3.0.0.7b, and I am facing the following issue.
Each time I open the profiler to load a profile-any profile, the software asks for actuator input (position, speed and acceleration).
Does any know why this happens?

Please note that during profiler start-up, the software succesfully identifies the actuators.

Regards,
John

The converter will compare the names of the existing actuator names (interface setup) with the one in the loading profile. If you have changed this names you have to save your profile (overwrite) once to get the new names into the profile.
You can change the names of a actuator in the fitting plugin by doubleclick the plugin in the interfce setup.
May happen if you reinstall x-sim and delete all old settings with the last setup step (recommended for a clean update). The actuators are then shown by their serial numbers or comport instead of "left actuator" or "right actuator".
If a answer is correct or did help you for a solution, please use the solve button.

Ok, the Man itself ! )
Thanks a lot sirnoname. That did it.
All profiles I use are "old"- 2009 and back, whilst those for rFactor are a bit soft. Where can I find new ones?

Thanks again,

John

Have you tried writing new profiles ? Use the auto max adjust, go for a spin, un-tick auto adjust , change numbers , test and rinse again.
