Bass Shaker Plugin

Postby Riton » Mon 7. May 2012, 23:00

hello,
I would like to discuss the operation of the Bass Shaker Plugin.
I find that the operation with XSIM is opposite operation with the soundtrack of the game

With the soundtrack of the game, the big shocks are in the low frequency and very high volume.
With XSIM, it's the opposite.
With Xsim:
With the test tablet i can see this configuration.

I need to put low frequency in big bump and hight freqency in little vibration , little bump.
with the original configuration i don't find a solution in the profile.
I think this configuration is better for best feeling:

Is there possible to change the pluging? or can someone give me a solution ?
thanks

Ok I will do my photo album.

Yes I reversed the effects, but it does not reverse the frequencies in Xsim.

my diagram gives the test tablet and operation with XSIM.

as I explained, the operation should be like that with the soundtrack.

small effects, small vibration.
big effects, big vibration

It would be interesting to adjust the frequency range of the plugin in reverse order.

The engine has smaller unbalance if it is faster, so you have less jitter.
I do not see your idea behind the volume or the sound frequency in combination to speed or acceleration.
Perhaps it make sense to use the RPM?
If a answer is correct or did help you for a solution, please use the solve button.

if you are using for example the effect 26

in the current configuration of the plugin, the low frequencies are at the center of the curve to the 0/0%

the small effect of track are currently low frequencies to 20 Hrz.
this is not optimal for representing small effects.

we should have little effect for the high frequency to 220Hrz

In my first diagram, you can see the actual configuration with the bass shaker plugin,
big effect in the game is a hight frequency like 220 HZ, so it's better is i can have in the place a low frequency like 20Hrz.

My second diagram see a better solution .
with this we have a better solution to use all effect like a motor
I hope your understand

I have make a vidéo with ButtKicker LFE Kit and game sound track:

http://youtu.be/OUIUYlA6tG4
I want to make progress in the setting with the ButtKicker LFE XSIM Kit But I don'' can not make a good setting because I do not understand. My testing shows that an working can not I have to practice correctly with effects. I take the example of the effect 26 and I can not feel properly has the bumps and the track. I am always looking for help, visual examples .... discuss this topic to properly set, or To give the basis for its proper settings

Ok, so are you using effect 26 for motion? If so, let auto adjustment "find" a number. Just go for a short , slow drive to get a number, then untick auto adjust and start the motion. Test and increase or decrease the number and work with % of effect.
Try the same principle for the buttkicker.

Google TraductionThank you for your help.
I did that, of course, but there is a problem.

for example for effects values of 1000:
I made a diagram to show what happens to output sound card, depending on the values of effects.
you can see on my schema:
small effects values correspond to low frequencies 20 Hz
and large values correspond to effects of high frequency 200Hrz

it is difficult to obtain correct effects, with frequency values reversed.

How to have a sound variation of a high frequency to low frequency with this mode of operation.

for me, a big shock is a low frequency:
this is a variation of high frequency to low frequency.

a bump,
this is a variation of frequency, to a low frequency

I would like to discuss on this topic, but nobody seems interested to experiment with me and share his opinion ...
I have already given my opinion and my tests without much reaction, I think nobody uses
or maybe just for the noise of the motor (rpm)
The plugin could probably be improved, because at the moment, the result is better using the sound of games.

It's a shame, I think this plugin could really be a huge plus in the simulation effects.

* is the competitor of this plugin, but there is no trial version, which is a shame.

Hi,

I plan to do the same thing. I ordered 4 bass shakers. I own various multichannel soundcards and amps.
Will come back here if the shakers arrive. No experience so far, sry.

Best regards
Yoko
