Hello All (Could really use some guidance)

My name is Robert, I am from the United States in South Carolina. I am currently working my way through flight school and would love to build a realistic simulator for under $12,000.00 USD.

I have a fair amount of knowledge in Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering. Currently I work as a Metrologist where I 3D Laser Scan, CMM, and Laser Track just about everything from air plane parts to consumer level products.

Could someone help point me in the right direction?
I am looking to purchase a simulator with Force Feedback system such as a Brunner CLS-E Yoke and Rudder Pedal Kit.
However, I am open to any and all systems.

The main goal is to have a system that has total immersion whether it be a VR System with 2,4,or 6 DOF.
I am simply not sure where to go for such a system as I am new to this.
