hi all just got some hardware and not sure how to get my USO device communitcating with x-sim via the converter.

when in converter at the output settings, and using the USO section what exactly do i need to put in the "Datapacket with axisinformations" txt box. In the manual it shows AB 255~a01~~a02~ im asuming thats for a different device then mine. Im using the Pololu Serial-8 servo Controller I've read the manual for my device and got it communicating via the pololu serial transmitter.

If anyone can help that would be fantastic

If you read the manual you can tell us what your interface needs byte by byte in a example?

dont gotta a lot of time right * Would a picture post be better?

a bit of byte information. 255 2 127 theres an example of code i can enter into pololu serial transmitter. That will make servo 2 move to center. and then if i replace "2" with "3" it moves servo 3.

Back into converter, if i enter just 255 in the "data packet axisinformation" and click start while my game is running, it connects to my USO device and the green like on my board stays on indicating ready to receive. When i drive around in game (race 07) i can see the green like flicker as if it were receiving protocol but nothing ever happens. Im assuming nothing happens as i didnt declare the servo port it should use, nor did i put the axis names in. I've also tried "255~a01~~a02~" but that just makes my board get errors and i need to reset.

Thanks for the help and sorry if this isn't what u wanted me to post, i'm new here and trying :)

got it communicating :) feel silly now, it was so simple. just had to change it to ~255~~3~~a01~ where 3 is the servo number.
