outsim do not start (win10)

Hi,

pCARS, RaceRoom and most of the other work fine. but...
If I try to select plugin that uses outsim extractor hangs. If I start outsim manually from plugin directory everything works.

Why outsim won't start when I select the plugin?

After further reading. Other Win10 issues might be related... So for now I start the outsim manually untill someone fixes Microsoft

Not sure after all that this is "Microsoft" issue.
I have now Windows 10 laptop with latest updates and it works as expected.
But the main gaming machine I should run the Extrator isn't working at all. I can run few games that do not use Outsim like pCARS.
I have done total clean Win10 installation twice with identical results.

Any advice that I could try? I wouldn't like to downgrade to win8 or 7.

As usual, rightclick, set administrator in compatibility mode for every plugin (in your case outsim.exe).
Windows 10 in newest edition has more strict admin mode. If you start x-Sim the plugin startet by x-sim are not automatically admin mode.
However the plugin communication need admin mode because of the old communication interface in new games.

Didn't help. Actually had this already set. On older machine that has been updated to current version instead of fresh new install I do not have to do this.
It seems like extractor is completely unable (denied) to start outsim. Could I have something missing since this is new clean install? Some C++ redist or something?

Do not hasle with the extrator, you must able to start outsim itself without problems.
You do not need any additional SDK. It starts normally in Win10. (minimized to taskbar)
