New actuators scn5 not scan by converter

After a problem with a pc a ad to swich actuators, from one simulator to the other, but with one pc it dosent reconnise the actuator when it scan for devise. On the connector FT232R USB UART i dont see light like when someting going on. i know those work i have try with my laptop no proplem(window 8) , i try un-instal the connector, re-instal x-sim, the pc see the connector correctely but it dosent exist for x-sim, on one pc (windows7) i guess there a memory someware that refer to other actuators then those, but on the other pc, and my laptop it work. What should i do, i consider upgrading to windows 10 to fix it but not sure all my devise will work.
what sould i do ?

Use debug mode to find the exact detection problem step by step.
FTDI need sometimes advance settings: printer mode and zero timing delay.
And: what is your actuator??

My actuators are 150mm scn5

debug mode where? in x-sim?
what is FTDI where do i put it in printer mode 0 timing delay?

ok i got that FTDI is the connector
but in advance setting i got this

i got choise from 1 to 3600

You must read the SCN5 instruction and manual before you continue!

2 weird ting from your explication about the
Registry editor

in computer KKEY Local machine/software i did not find x-sim find it in Hkey current user


and the rest of the road is not there so i cannot acces the debug mode

but upgradin to window 10 would solve my problem right?

Please, please read the whole thread!
And check the driver what is the hint before you read debug mode. You need that dialog.
