SimForceGT working with Windows 7 64 bit

Postby esmadja » Sun 18. May 2014, 09:18

Has anyone gotten SimForceGT to work on Windows 7 64 bit?
This is apparently a know issue, however nowhere does it say that this would affect all Windows 7 64 bit machines.
I also read that perhaps an earlier version e.g. 3.0.0.6 might work though I can't find that version to download anywhere.

I have tried on three separate machines with no luck.
One is an EVGA Classified 4-way X58 running an AMD Radeon HD 7990
The second is a Dell Inspiron 1525 HP Pavilion laptop
and the third is an Intel motherboard (forget the model number at this time)

the error is
Zugriffsverletzung bei adresse 005FB428 in Modul 'SimForceGT.exe'.

No, we did not find the difference, maybe english windows or somthing other.
The error will also not be fixed. Use Rock'n'Ride simulator instead.

Thank-you for the reply. Rock n Ride does work with the Race 07 demo.
I will try with x-plane 10 next, which is what I really want to use.

I can confirm that on two different windows 7 machines, installed English version, when launching SimForceGT I get an infinite number of error messages, but the messages are not in English. And the only way to make them stop seems to restart the computer.

you can stop them by turn on Task Manager, find "SimForceGT.exe" and end process it.

If you are getting an error "zugriffsverletzung bei adresse 005fb428 in Modul 'SimforceGT.exe'. Lesen von Adresse 000001E0", when you are trying to open "SimforceGT-Simulation" tool, This is the solution.

You should set the "Regional Format" to "English (Germany)". Then it worked.

1. Type "region settings" in start menu.
2. Then open "Region settings". It will open a new window.
3. There is a dropdown list under "Regional Format" topic.
4. From the dropdown list, select "English (Germany)"
5. That's all.

This worked for me (my operating system is Windows 10).
