:P yes, that's fine now !! Thanks sirnoname I was a bit affraid of destroying my DIY buttkicker with 100% volume : but that was the solution ! Re: Finished 2DOF 12V DC wiper arduino playseat

Thanks !

I've added some explanations in the first post for configuring Xsim for my 2DOF.

For the temperature, my motors are just fine, not hot (even after an hour !!)
(it's written somewhere in the Lipide512 post ?)

Re: Finished 2DOF 12V DC wiper arduino playseat

@ SirNoName : thanks for your positive opinion ! This gives me the opportunity to tell you that I'm grateful for your Xsim programming ;) The Arduino's program has been written by a french guy (mentioned at the top of the code). It is based on the example given by Sparkfun who sells the motor driver...

Re: G-seat for flight sims

Great !

Have you tested your current consumption under load ?
I'm wondering if your (cheap :-) ) Hbridge keeps fine ? (you probably need a radiator and a fan)

Re: 2dof + Traction Build.

Hi Bodgy ! nice to see your beautiful drawings : it makes the subject clear ! the brake disk is interesting but I would see two drawbacks : - how you will lubricate it ? for this rotation, a ball bearing woul be more appropriate, no ? - I agree with Yokoyoko, in this design you will fell spinning on...

Re: Project "Wackelsitz" - 2DOF Wipermotor Sim

That looks promising ! I'm eager to see more ... From my experience, I'm pretty sure that your aluminium motor support will need reinforcement ! if not they will move and ultimately aluminium may brake under "metal fatigue". Could you please tell me how much you bought your universal joint...

Re: Finished 2DOF 12V DC wiper arduino playseat

Hello ALex ! I've choosen simplicity and solidity rather than max precision : my pot is connected to the motor axle itself, hence the ratio is 1:1 As my motor does around 160° turn, my pot does the same I could have used gears with a ratio of maybe 1:2 to increase precision by 2 but introducing mech...
