Re: 3D Printed Linear Actuator Design

Hi Everyone I'm brand new to the board and to flight sims in general although I am a qualified private pilot with around 500 hours logged. As well as flying my other interests include all things technical and I have designed and built a few different 3D printers (and two full size aeroplanes :D ) I...

Re: My 6DOF pneumatic stewart platform

I think you have checked the auto max values in the forces. Unchecked that and set manually lower values.

Re: High angle & Displacement 6DOF

I hope Damien is ok, his email was hacked I assume as I received a phishing email from his account that had CC all many of his friends... :|

Perhaps he is too busy lately to present any of his progress.

Thanks

Re: NEWBIES!! my experience getting it work (scn5).

You are in the right place for the original x-sim software. Other sites are just trying to copy (and be rude in the process) :D

Re: My 6DOF pneumatic stewart platform

Nice try! Did you try to load it yet so see if it compresses the air in the cylinders? I would live to see a video of this.

Back in 2005 I was planing to use pneumatics until I was told the prices for servovalves...

Re: Why use scn5 linear actuators?

Dear Experts, i saw the video of the SCn5 linear actuators and its really effective and good. I wonder to ask is this possible using it in Flight simulators? And for the flight simulator is that a must using a 4DOF or higher? Thanks in Advance 4DOF with SCN5? Not really possible... at least not cap...

Re: Hello From California

Perhaps you could try this solution for FFB controller: http://forum.virtualracing.org/showthre ... Controller

You will have to interface it with PWM inputs through to your motor setup and have your motor work in variable Torque Mode.

Thanks
